About the WebP to PNG Converter
WebP is common on the web, but older versions of Photoshop, Office, some CMS plugins and many upload forms still refuse it. Converting to PNG gives you a universally supported, lossless copy that keeps any transparency from the original.
Your browser decodes the WebP (including animated WebP, of which the first frame is used) and writes a standard PNG file.
How to use it
- Select or drop your .webp files.
- Wait a moment while they convert.
- Download each PNG or all of them as a ZIP.
Good to know
- Animated WebP files are converted to a single still PNG of the first frame.
- The PNG is often larger than the WebP because PNG compression is less efficient.
