About the Image to Base64 Converter
Embedding small icons and placeholders directly into HTML, CSS or JSON avoids extra HTTP requests and is handy for email templates and single-file demos. This converter encodes any image as Base64 and formats it the way you need.
How to use it
- Drop an image (up to 10 MB).
- Choose data URI, raw Base64, <img>, CSS or Markdown.
- Copy the output.
Good to know
- Base64 adds about 33% to the file size and the result cannot be cached separately, so inline only small images (under ~10–20 KB).
- Some email clients block data-URI images; test before sending.
