About the Base64 Decoder
Decode Base64 strings from APIs, emails, JWTs and data URIs. If the result is readable UTF-8 text it is shown immediately; if it is binary (an image, PDF or archive) you can download it as a file.
Your data is processed in the browser and never sent to a server, so it is safe to paste payloads that contain tokens or personal data.
How to use it
- Paste Base64 text or a data URI.
- Read the decoded text, or download the file.
- Use Copy to grab the result.
Good to know
- Whitespace, line breaks and missing = padding are tolerated; invalid characters are reported.
- The file type for downloads is taken from the data URI when present.
