About the HTML Formatter
Clean up HTML copied from a CMS, email builder or minified page. Tags are indented by nesting level, and inline <style> and <script> blocks are formatted too. Powered by the widely used js-beautify library.
Your data is processed in the browser and never sent to a server, so it is safe to paste payloads that contain tokens or personal data.
How to use it
- Paste HTML or open a file.
- Choose indentation and optional line wrapping.
- Copy or download the formatted HTML.
Good to know
- Formatting changes whitespace only. In rare cases whitespace between inline elements affects rendering; check the result visually.
- Invalid HTML is formatted as best as possible but not corrected.
