About the HEIC to PNG Converter
Choose PNG over JPG when you plan to edit the photo further, need pixel-perfect quality for a print shop, or want to avoid stacking compression artifacts. This tool decodes HEIC locally with WebAssembly and writes lossless PNG files.
How to use it
- Drop one or more HEIC/HEIF files.
- Wait for the conversion to finish.
- Download your PNG files or a ZIP of all of them.
Good to know
- PNG files of photos are large — often 10–20 MB for a 12 MP image.
- If you only need to share a photo, HEIC to JPG produces much smaller files.
