About the Image Resizer

Resize photos for social media, product listings, email or website layouts. Enter a width, a height, or both: with the aspect-ratio lock on, the image is scaled to fit inside the box without distortion. Percentage mode is handy for quickly halving camera photos.

Downscaling uses multi-step high-quality resampling to avoid the jagged edges and moiré that single-step browser scaling can produce.

How to use it

  1. Choose pixels or percentage.
  2. Enter the target size and output format.
  3. Drop your images and download the resized copies.

Good to know

  • Enlarging an image cannot add real detail; expect softness above 150–200%.
  • Maximum output is 32,767 px per side and 100 megapixels total.

Frequently asked questions

What size should Instagram or Facebook images be?

1080×1080 for square posts, 1080×1350 for portrait and 1080×1920 for stories. Facebook link images use 1200×630.

Can I resize many photos to the same width?

Yes. Enter only the width with the ratio lock on and drop all photos; each keeps its own proportions.
