About the Fuel Consumption Calculator
Track your car's real fuel economy and compare it with official figures. Fill up, note the distance and the amount of fuel needed to refill, and the calculator converts between US MPG, UK MPG, litres per 100 km and kilometres per litre. Add the fuel price to see the trip cost and cost per mile or kilometre.

Good to know
- US and UK gallons differ (3.785 L vs 4.546 L), so UK MPG figures are about 20% higher for the same car.
