About the ROI Calculator
ROI measures how much an investment earned relative to its cost. A total ROI on its own can mislead — 50% over ten years is very different from 50% in one — so the calculator also shows the annualized return (CAGR) when you enter the holding period.
How to use it
- Enter the amount invested and the final value.
- Optionally enter the number of years.
- Compare ROI and annualized ROI.
Good to know
- Results are estimates for planning purposes and not financial, tax or legal advice. Lenders and tax authorities may calculate differently.
- Include all costs (fees, taxes, maintenance) in the amount invested for a realistic ROI.
