About the Password Generator
Weak and reused passwords are the main cause of account takeovers. This generator creates truly random passwords with crypto.getRandomValues(), guarantees at least one character from each selected set, and shows the entropy in bits so you know how strong the result is.
Passwords are generated on your device and never transmitted or stored.
How to use it
- Set the length (16+ recommended).
- Choose character sets and exclusions.
- Copy the password into your password manager.
Good to know
- Use a unique password for every site and store them in a password manager.
- Excluding look-alike characters slightly reduces entropy but helps when typing passwords manually.
