About the Favicon Generator

Modern websites need more than a single favicon.ico. Browsers, iOS home screens, Android launchers and progressive web apps each look for different files. Upload a logo once and get every file plus the exact HTML to paste into your page's <head>.

How to use it

  1. Enter your site name and theme color.
  2. Upload a square logo (an SVG or a 512×512 PNG works best).
  3. Download the ZIP and copy the HTML snippet into your site.

Good to know

  • The Apple touch icon always gets a solid background because iOS shows transparent areas as black.
  • Keep the design simple: detail disappears at 16×16 pixels.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I put the files?

Upload all files to the root of your website (the same folder as index.html) so paths like /favicon.ico resolve, then add the HTML snippet to every page.

Why doesn't my new favicon show up?

Browsers cache favicons aggressively. Hard-refresh, open a private window, or append a version query such as /favicon.ico?v=2.
