About the WebGL Information

Games, 3D viewers, maps and some AI demos rely on WebGL. See whether your browser supports WebGL 1 and 2, which GPU it uses, the maximum texture and viewport sizes and the full list of extensions — useful for debugging graphics issues.

How to use it

  1. Open the page to see your WebGL details.

Good to know

  • Some browsers mask the GPU name for privacy.
  • If WebGL is unavailable, enable hardware acceleration in browser settings and update graphics drivers.

Frequently asked questions

Why does it say SwiftShader or llvmpipe?

Rendering falls back to software, usually because hardware acceleration is disabled or the GPU is blocklisted.

WebGL or WebGPU?

WebGPU is the newer, faster API; WebGL is supported almost everywhere.
