About the PDF Metadata Viewer & Editor
PDF files carry document properties that search engines, document management systems and recipients can see — sometimes revealing an author's name or the software used. Inspect them here, then edit the title, author, subject and keywords and save a new copy.
Your PDF is processed in your browser with pdf-lib and never uploaded.
How to use it
- Drop a PDF to read its properties.
- Edit the fields in “Edit metadata” if needed.
- Download the PDF with updated metadata.
Good to know
- XMP metadata streams written by some apps may still contain older values; this tool edits the standard document information dictionary.
- Encrypted PDFs can be viewed but not edited.
