About the Binary to Text Converter

Translate binary code such as 01001000 01101001 back into text. Spaces and commas between bytes are optional; the input must contain whole 8-bit bytes that form valid UTF-8, otherwise you get an explanation of what's wrong.

How to use it

  1. Paste the binary digits.
  2. Read the decoded text.

Good to know

  • Only 0 and 1 (plus separators) are allowed.
  • Binary representing other encodings (e.g. UTF-16) won't decode correctly as UTF-8.
